Wind Business

Bison Energy expanded into Wind projects in 2019. As a mature source of renewable energy, Wind farms are beneficial both locally and globally. We currently have a substantial portfolio of Wind Farm projects under development in Australia, Japan and Europe where the weather patterns are favourable.

Wind turbines are ecologically sound and economically attractive. Their implementation is complex, requires a sensitive touch in integrating them in the best possible way to take into account the interests of many stakeholders. Bison Energy handles all the steps necessary to create and operate Wind Turbine renewable systems – everything from securing property rights, navigating the complex process of obtaining the necessary permits and licences, constructing and commissioning of the wind turbines. We are the point of contact for landowners, municipalities and investors, and also for project partners with existing installations or repowering projects.

Biomass Business

Japan is our main focus market for Biomass projects, where a very attractive FIT policy is given for different feedstocks. Currently we are focusing on PKS and Pallet as feedstocks with an attractive FIT for 20 years with imported feedstocks, or even more favourable FIT of 20 years for domestic feedstocks. We currently have two projects under development.
Site- 10MW Project with 40 YEN FIT for 20 years
We chose the land located nearby a wood chips factory and an industrial water supply area to avoid high domestic transportation costs in Japan.
- 2MW Project with 24YEN FIT
We chose this land located at the main ports in Japan (an industrial zone), due to the fewer Environmental Impacts. A full services system to satisfy the water supply and cargo delivery is available.
