Tobucho Solar Farm

Bison Energy Japan completed its first solar development in the Fukui Prefecture, Japan, in the October of 2017. The 24YEN FIT Project was approved by METI (the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and Hokuriku Power company.
Developed by our Japanese team, the power plant has a capacity of 1.98Mw AC/2.4948Mw DC.
The construction commenced in October 2018 with materials used from JA Solar (270W Poly crystalline panels) and HUAWEI Inverter (SUN2000-33KTL).

The land sourced was in a residential title zone and the previous landowner had proposed to build Villas for the local residences, though due to financial issues they decided to sell the land undeveloped. The land had already been measured and we finished the civil work, arranged finance and completed the construction.
