It's with great pleasure that Bison Energy announces the sale of the Cosgrove Solar Farm to renewable energy asset funder Green Squares Energy, in partnership with a leading Australian superannuation firm, Future super.
Bison Energy felt completely aligned with Green Squares Energy and Future Super's holistic and ethical approach, reflected in their zero fossil fuelled investment strategy, and the clear, open and transparent way the two respective firms conduct themselves with their clients.
Like Green Squares Energy and Future Super, Bison Energy also shares the belief that the future is brighter with sustainable renewable electricity generation. In particular, the local-level involvement of the Cosgrove/ Shepparton community, encompassing neighbours, local business and not-for-profit community groups, have all been instrumental in bringing the project to light.
Bison Energy would like to thank Green Squares Energy and Future Super for the continuing support for Bison Energy to remain involved on the project in partnership with major local engineering, electrical and civil firm, Watters Electrical, resulting in all pre-assessment works, labour hire, non-major materials, visual screening/ plantings being sourced and generated locally; this demonstrates both support for the local community and their families, and a model for delivery which we will be seeking to replicate.
